As the company has announced today, Ken Lousberg, currently President of Terex China, will become the new President of Terex Cranes. He follows Tom Ford, who leaves the company to pursue other opportunities. Lousberg will still be in charge of the China business and also of the business in Latin America.
Lousberg started with Genie in 1997, and joined Terex when Genie was acquired in 2002. He was named Vice President, Terex Business Systems (TBS) for Terex Cranes in 2005, and then Vice President and General Manager of Terex Cranes Europe in 2007. He holds a B.S.M.E. degree from Colorado State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
