The recycling and resource recovery specialist will provide more details on its plans in the coming weeks, and it expects the facility to be operational in the second half of 2026.
Barry Phillips, Managing Director for Fridges, WEEE & Glass at Enva, stated: “We’re excited to bring the latest fridge recycling technology to London and the South East, providing much-needed additional processing capacity. This development demonstrates Enva’s commitment to executing its long-term growth strategy and investing in the latest technology to safely and sustainably process end-of-life fridges while realising their commercial and environmental value.”
This development further strengthens Enva’s market-leading position across the UK, after recent new plant builds in Perth, Scotland and Toomebridge, Northern Ireland, in addition to existing fridge recycling facilities in Grantham and Stourbridge in England.
