IFAT: Saving energy with progressing cavity pumps

At IFAT, Netzsch is presenting a new system for its progressing cavity pumps: XLC-Select is designed to automatically adjust the pump's stator, reducing energy consumption by up to 30 percent.

The XLC-Select stator adjustment system is an accessory for the Nemo series of progressing cavity pumps from Netzsch that, according to the manufacturer, uses algorithms to detect the optimum efficiency of the pump completely independently and adjusts the stator accordingly. This is said to save up to 30 percent of the pump’s energy costs. Representatives of the manufacturer will explain the concept at IFAT and use exhibition models to vividly demonstrate the potential benefits:
