Organized by the European Demolition Association, EDA, in cooperation with the European Decontamination Institute, EDI, and the support of National Associations and several institutions, the DDR Forum & Expo 2017 turned around a high-level conference program and an exhibition area.
DDR Forum & Expo 2017 was an event never seen before, where professionals from different trades, but all related between them, had the opportunity to meet each other thanks to the same goal: go towards the Circular Economy.
This, as well as the chosen place to celebrate it, Brussels, allowed the participation of several stakeholders from different European institutions (associations, federations, included the European Commission…) that participated as speakers and panelists in the conference sessions, covering by this way multiple topics of interest for the attendants.
These institutions, in addition, supported the event as institutional partners, which moved professionals to the event to attend the Plenary and Workshop rooms, where different sessions took place simultaneously.
The institutional partners were the European Commission, Flemish Construction Confederation, European Builders Confederation, EBC; Construction Products Europe; Fédération Internationale du Recyclage, FIR, the Concrete Initiative; Metals for Buildings; European Aggregates Association, UEPG; European Convention for Constructional Steelwork, ECCS; European Federation of Glass Recyclers, FERVER; Committee for European Construction Equipment, CECE; and VITO.
But not only the conference program made the event and not only the institutional partners attract professionals, the other main part of the event were the exhibitors, who made it possible thanks to their presence at the exhibition area.
They showed their machines, products and services to the contractors and potential clients that attended the DDR Forum & Expo 2017. Caterpillar launched its new 340F UHD track excavator with a resounding success, while the following supplier companies participated too: Liebherr, Keestrack, MB Dustcontrol, Dynaset, Atlas Copco, Arvi, Demarec, Arden Equipment, VTN Europe, Leotech, Hidraram, Grabiron, Rotar, DemTech-LaBounty, Spraystream, Antea Group and DDB. In addition, the contractor companies Despe and VI.BI, as well as the next fair INTERMAT 2018, supported the event.
