According to Andusia Recovered Fuels for the past 2 years, Grant Thornton have celebrated 100 Faces of a Vibrant Economy to showcase progressive leaders across private and public sectors to provide inspiration to young people as to how they might aspire to contribute as they move into the working world. Those nominated are excelling in either growth, innovation or purpose.
Steve’s story resonated with Grant Thornton, the company says. Having established Andusia in 2012 with fellow Director, Stewart Brackenbury, the company has gone on to become the UK’s largest independent exporter of RDF. Also winning a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2016 and finally collecting it’s millionth tone of RDF waste earlier this year.
Looking ahead, Andusia are expanding into the SRF and hazourdous waste market and will celebrate it’s 7th anniversary in February 2019.
